The CheongJu Art Creation Studio, run by CheongJu City Hall, Korea, is designed to provide ideal working spaces through the diverse programs, for both local/international artists.
The fundamental object of the studio is to encourage the artists to interact globally and to discuss their agendas about arts.
The lively discussion can lead their art products creative, enterprising, and sometimes experimental.

● Object

2. Period of Residence : Long term 1 year / Short term 3 or 6 months
3. Fee : No charge of rental cost ( EXCEPT electrical charges & using internet expenses)

● 5th Artist-In-Residence Recruitment
1. Long Term Residency : April 22, 2011- April 21, 2012 (1 Year)
2. Short Term Residency (① 3 months / ② 6 months)

※ If you apply a short term residency, you must indicate first/second preference.

● Areas of Recruitment
- Painting, Sculpture, Photograph, Installation, Multimedia

● Qualification
- Artists from both Korea and overseas in the age above 20 (at the time notification)
- Artists working actively at home or abroad (current or previous resident artists are ineligible)
- Local artist who has NOT own/run a studio

● Application materials
1. An application form / which is available to print out from www. cjartstudio.com
2. Self-introduction form
3. Description of works / Picture Portfolio and Digital data file (CD)
Digital files should be .jpg extension and no more than 10 files
Video files require for Multimedia applicant, Max 10mins, file extension should be .avi
4. A Copy of Passport
5. The records of exhibition and awards at home aboard
(Exhibition catalogue and a copy of award / No prescribed form)
6. A certification of highest level of education
7. A plan complete with goals and objectives during the residency

● Notification
1. Submitted documents will NOT be returned (but Dropout's Portfolio will be returned)
